Ticket Policies

Event Day

The Events Centre Box Office will open at approximately 4pm before the scheduled event show time, unless otherwise published.

Line Ups

All customers will be served in the order in which they arrive, until the line has subsided or the show sells out of tickets. Any patrons displaying inappropriate behavior, attempting to skip line, will be immediately asked to leave the building.

Individuals who must leave a line may be replaced by someone else as long as clearly communicated – in advance – with the Events Centre staff person.

Ticket “On Sale” Information

The Events Centre Management and/or Staff announces events through media releases, the Eastlink Events Centre website, constant contact e-blasts, the Town of Clarenville website and social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

Day of Show (Weekday)

The box office will open at the regular time of Noon on the day of shows, during weekdays. Closing times may vary, but generally, we are open until at least 30 minutes after the show begins. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. Event Days on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday: The Box Office will be open at 4pm prior to the show, unless otherwise stated.

E-Tix

E-Tix is now available for most events which are for sale online. Customers must bring a photo ID bearing the name specified on the E-Ticket to be granted entry into the event. E-Tix CANNOT be transferred to another person without written permission from the original ticket holder. Please submit a request to the Box Office to transfer tickets AT LEAST 48 hours before the event. EEC Management has the right to refuse e-tix transfers without written approval within the specified time.

Will Call

Will Call is available during regular Box Office hours. Will Call tickets will be ready to be picked up 3 business days after the purchase date. Customers must bring a photo ID bearing the name specified at Will Call to claim tickets. For online ticket orders, your tix.com confirmation printout is also required.

It is important to note that there can be no additions or changes to Will Call, unless an alternate pick-up name is submitted to the Box Office by the purchaser before the event. Only changes from the purchaser shall be honoured by the Box Office. In addition, patrons cannot pick up partial order of Will Call tickets, and leave the rest with the Box Office. The Events Centre Box Office is not responsible for the property (i.e. tickets) of the customer.

Maximum Ticket Purchases

Maximum ticket purchases vary by event. Generally, there is 6 ticket limit for a concert, or 8 ticket limit for a family show. This is subject to change based on artist/event stipulations, and in rare circumstances at the sole discretion of the Manager or Box Office Supervisor.

Tickets for Students/Youth

Discounted ticket prices for children are sometimes available for various events. Age restrictions and the amount of discount vary by event and are at the discretion of the touring act. If a child is 2yrs or less in age and the accompanying adult is aware that the child will not have a seat, and will sit on the accompanying adult’s lap, no ticket is necessary and entrance to the event is free of charge, unless otherwise stated.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available for all events at the Eastlink Events Centre – Clarenville. For THEATRE EVENTS, please tell the ticket seller, when purchasing your tickets, that you will need accessible seating. You may purchase accessible seating at the Box Office or over the phone at 709.466.4105 ext 222.

Lost/Stolen Tickets

If tickets are lost or stolen you should immediately report them to the Events Centre Box Office. For stolen tickets, a copy of the police report must be presented to pick up replacement tickets. Lost tickets are similar to lost cash. If the Box Office replaces lost tickets, the tickets will only be available at Will Call on the day of the event by the original purchaser with ID and will be subject to a $5.00 per ticket reprint charge.

Cancelled or Rescheduled Events

If for any reason an event is cancelled, regardless of if it is re-scheduled, all customers are eligible for a refund at their point of purchase within a certain time frame, a cut-off date for refunds will be issued. Refunds will only be given before the refund cut-off date. NO EXCEPTIONS. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled information is immediately sent thru local media releases, the EECC website, constant contact e-blasts, and social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

All sales are Final. No Refunds or Exchanges for any Events unless event is cancelled by the Events Centre, in which case Patrons MUST present Ticket(s) for their Refund. Please present your receipt to speed up your refund process. NO EXCEPTIONS.
